Michele E. Murphy, 58, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital after a tough fight with cancer, with her family by her side.

She was born on January 05, 1965 to Michael and Catherine “Katy” (Fredritz) Chapman. 

Survivors include her mother, Catherine “Katy” Shaw of Tiffin; stepmother, Carol Chapman of Fostoria; sons, Matthew (Claire) Murphy of Perrysburg and Michael (Meghen) Murphy of London; daughters, Catherine Murphy and Jennifer (Darian Brock) Murphy, both of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Brielle Council, Lillian Murphy and Raelyn Brock; and her grand cat, Jaxton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Chapman; stepfather, John Shaw; and brother, Harold Rowlett.

Michele worked at American Fine Sinter for the last 15 years. She was a caretaker for her mom and anyone who needed help. Michele enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping for the best deals, loved seafood and her animals, especially her cats, Prince and Ginny.

Her Funeral Service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 03, 2023 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4:30-6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 02, 2023 at the funeral home.
